We support Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024), X-Plane 11/12, and Prepar3D. Our ACARS client is compatible with all major simulators.

Yes! Deutsche Kraniche Virtual is completely free to join and participate in. There are no membership fees or hidden costs.

Realism levels let you choose your experience. Casual mode has relaxed rules, Balanced (default) offers a good mix of freedom and realism, and Realistic mode enforces stricter operational rules but unlocks exclusive perks and achievements.

No, VATSIM is not required. You can fly offline or on any network you prefer. However, we do have VATSIM integration and special achievements for online flying.

Our ACARS system tracks your flights automatically. It records your route, altitude, fuel usage, landing rate, and more. Each flight generates a detailed PIREP (Pilot Report) that you can review.

Aircraft availability depends on your realism level and the airline you fly for. In Casual mode, you have broad access. In Balanced and Realistic modes, you fly the types your airline actually operates.

Tours are structured multi-leg flying adventures. Each tour has a specific route and requirements. Complete all legs to earn the tour award. New tours are added regularly.

Yes! We have an active Discord server where pilots share experiences, get support, coordinate group flights, and hang out. You can join through the link on our Contact page.
